To Family, one and all!
Just thought I would up-date everyone on Joe's progress. It will be two weeks tomorrow since he had his "stent" put in and the time has just seemed to fly by. He only spent one night in the hospital and has really progressed very well this time. He started walking outside yesterday and took one turn around the complex which is1/4 of a mile and today he did the same again. He says he could go further but is supposed to take it slow and easy so I think adding another turn might begin next week, etc. until he gets up to a mile or so.
There was a neighborhood cook-out at the club-house here on Sunday evening and he even attended that with me. He says he really enjoyed it and met a lot of new folks that have moved here since his treatments all began which was about one and one-half years ago. I think I counted at least 31 people in attendance.
Well, that's about it for now just wanted you to know all is well at our house. We don't have any trips or even any photos to put on the blog but getting healthy once again is plenty to brag about when you get our age! We'll be travelling again before you know it!
